Richard Hannah, Vice President, Information Technology at The Forzani Group Limited. Richard has over 26 years of Information Technology experience, starting in operations, then into software development before moving into various management positions with large Canadian companies.  He is currently Vice-President, Information Technology for FGL.  He has responsibility for all Strategic and Operational aspects of Information Technology at FGL.  Richard holds an MBA in Information Technology Management. The Forzani Group Ltd. (FGL) is Canada’s largest and only national sporting goods and life-style retailer with over 570 retail stores and revenues in excess of $1.3B.

 

 

Ross Lennox, P. Geol., Chief Technology Officer at Quadrise Canada.  Ross has over 25 years of domestic and international experience in the oil and gas industry and 10 years in the high tech industry. Quadrise Canada manufactures and supplies an emulsion fuel used in the oil and gas industry for thermal recovery and power projects and in the electrical power industry for refueling large steam power plants. The company also offers a carbon capture and storage technology for the combustion of a variety of fuels in an oxygen-rich environment to produce a CO2-rich flue gas ideal for sequestration into an underground reservoir or for use in enhanced oil recovery projects.

 

Harry Ulmer, Manager Business Fulfillment Strategy at Spectra Energy. Spectra Energy is one of North America’s premier natural gas infrastructure companies connecting natural gas sources to premium markets across North America. The Business Fulfillment Strategy Team provides business analysis services to internal clients for external customers. This team’s strength is ‘merging strategic planning and creative ideas with technology and business expertise to create real solutions’.

He is regarded globally as a thought leader and dynamic practitioner who can bring reason, clarity, and practicality to ways of managing complex BPM challenges.  Roger’s insights can be found in his acclaimed book: Business Process Management: Profiting from Process and other publications including his column in BPTrends.com.

Kathleen Barret, President and CEO of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). The IIBA, a professional association for Business Analysts, focuses on defining and enhancing the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK®) and implementing a certification program for qualified practitioners. With over 25 years of experience in information technology, Kathleen has held many roles including most recently, managing offshore software development work for a large financial service organization.  Her involvement in the field of business analysis began when she was asked to create a centre of competency for BAs for her company.  She is experienced in Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and benchmarking, and through her many years of consulting, brings cross industry knowledge to her role at IIBA.
